Jonathan is dedicated to supporting artists and institutions in the building, presenting and producing of spaces and events of all sizes in usual and unusual locations. Current and past creative partners include The Chuck Davis Project(film), CenterStage, Revolutionary Spaces, Southern Vermont Arts Center, NYC Free Festival, Craig Harris, BAM, PROTOTYPE Festival, HERE Arts Center, Clark Art Museum, En Garde Arts, Brooklyn Brewery, Ford Motors, BRIC, Frank London and Berkshire Creative. Secor Productions served as the consulting firm for the design, construction, and outfitting of the performing art spaces at the MASS MoCA.

As a Creative Producer Jonathan has most recently worked with Urban Bush Women on the creation of new work as well as the implementation of structures to support emerging Women of Color+ Producers. As curator and producer, Jonathan has worked with the Raising Voices Festival (a four-day multi-stage festival in downtown Boston), with NYC Free (a four-week festival curated by Mikki Shepard held on the newly opened Little Island), and as Director of Public Programs for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

A longtime resident of both New York City and the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, Jonathan was founder/director of the MCLA Berkshire Cultural Resource Center, where he oversaw the creation of multiple programs including Gallery 51, Tricks of the Trade, DownStreet Art, MCLA Presents!, BerkshireArtStart.org and the Berkshire Hills Internship Program (B-HIP).

Jonathan was Artistic Director for the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington, MA where he programmed over forty productions for their 2005-2007 seasons and oversaw the re- opening of this historic theater.

From it’s opening until 2005 Jonathan served as the Director of Performing Arts at MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA where he was responsible for the oversight of budget, staffing, and programming of 60-75 annual events.

Jonathan was General Manager for 651 ARTS in Brooklyn, NY and has worked as a production manager throughout the United States and Europe. He started his career as a stage manager and has stage-managed hundreds of productions for Broadway, regional theater, opera, dance, film and television. Jonathan has taught undergraduate/graduate courses in management at the Yale School of Drama and the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and is currently once again teaching at SUNY Purchase.
