Salem

SALEM is a dark pop musical about desire, revenge, power, and what we do to survive. When 13-year-old Mary and her best friend Lizzie turn to witchcraft to reclaim power in a world that violently strips them of it, the unthinkable happens—and everything unravels. Set against the hysteria of the Salem witch trials, SALEM explodes with trap beats, ritual, and feminine rage and revenge as courtroom turns into arena- in a wrestle of fear, forgiveness, and ascension. In the end, the girls must decide what’s worth saving: their bodies, or their souls.

The show is currently in development. It was featured in the 2024 ASCAP Librettist Workshop in Los Angeles. A book workshop was held in April 2025 in New York. A full music workshop is anticipated in Spring 2026 with a world premiere production to follow.
