The Inheritance
Co-Producer
Written by Matthew Lopez, this two-part play explores the lives of gay men in contemporary New York City, set a generation after the peak of the AIDS epidemic. It's inspired by E.M. Forster's "Howards End" and examines themes of inheritance, love, loss, and the connections between generations. The play follows several characters, including a couple on the cusp of marriage, an older man haunted by the past, and a younger man seeking his place in the world.
The play was commissioned by Hartford Stage and subsequently produced in London at the Young Vic Theatre before moving to the West End in 2018, and later to Broadway in 2019.
