What the Constitution Means to Me

WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME is a powerful play by Heidi Schreck that imagines how the Constitution shapes the next generation, tracing the relationship between four generations of women and the founding document. The show was first produced by Clubbed Thumb's Summerworks series at The Wild Project in 2017. After additional productions at Berkeley Rep and New York Theatre Workshop, the show finally premiered on Broadway in 2018. It was made available for streaming as an Amazon Prime Original in 2020.
